On Saturday, May 19, the Alabama Power Service Organization and the Five Mile Creek Greenway Partnership are gearing up for the 9th Annual Five Mile Creek Greenway Volunteer event in Tarrant. Volunteers will install Five Mile Creek Greenway markers along a section of the route in central Tarrant. Volunteers can also do minor painting and trash pickup, and plant flowers. Everyone is invited after the morning volunteer event to enjoy Tarrant’s Five Mile Creek Festival, taking place just a few blocks away.
