The Fresh­wa­ter Land Trust Junior Board invites you to be a part of a unique 5k race at the beau­ti­ful Turkey Creek Nature Pre­serve in Pin­son, Alabama. Valley Creek Cleanup

Join the Fresh­wa­ter Land Trust for the Val­ley Creek Cleanup on Sat­ur­day, Aug. 20 from 8 a.m. until noon. There are two loca­tions: McNeil Park, 1931 13th Street North in Besse­mer or Freewill Bap­tist Church on B.Y. Williams Sr. Drive in Mid­field. You need to bring shoes you don’t mind get­ting wet, long pants, insect repel­lant and gloves. Spring Hike on March 12th

The Jerome K. Lan­ning Pre­serve in Ves­tavia is a beau­ti­ful wooded park along the Cahaba River. Due to fore­casted weather con­di­tions, the Vil­lage Creek Green­way launch work­day has been resched­uled from Jan. 25 to Thurs­day, Feb­ru­ary 3rd.
